This useful site is the creation of Bob Stanley. It contains many fine essays under headings like Authority, Councils, Mary, Morality, Popes, Scripture, the Church, and Truth. These articles are well worth reading.

Catholics United for the Faith www.cuf.org
This is another excellent Catholic site. CUF also publishes a fine monthly magazine called Lay Witness. A highlight of the site is the Faith Facts, short essays that clearly elucidates individual topics. For the tough answers you can't get answered CUF offers a valuable Information Service. The toll-free number is 1-800-MY-FAITH. A modest membership makes you a member of CUF and brings Lay Witness and access to the Information Service. It's a bargain.

This is the largest collection of English translations of ancient and medieval works relating to early Christianity anywhere. Many of the rare works found here are normally available in specialized libraries. The site is well indexed and a search engine lets one search the entire Sourcebook. Lay-apologist Lane Core hosts this site. The section covering official Church documents is very helpful. There are also useful Bible study resources. Many of the topics covered in the essays are not heavily covered elsewhere on other sites.

It contains wonderful essays on wide ranging theological topics, for example, evolution, Biblical interpretation, apologetics, liturgy, contraception and Catholic traditionalists.
